Anyone know the penalty/fine for driving without proof of insurance in MN?
I know I know I’m an idiot! I was struggling with some bills and tried to toggle them but got myself further behind and I ended up letting my insurance policy get canceled. I did however reinstate my policy the next day. I’m just curious as to what to expect when I appear for my court date. I know there will be a fine but I don’t know the extent of the penalty. I have a clean driving record so I don’t know if that will help or not but I’m crossing my fingers that they don’t revoke my license!

my cousin lives in st. paul,mn. i had to loan him $150.00 to pay his no insurance ticket. call your local court services maybe they will help you.
They must have ticketed you for something besides no insurance ? They may drop the no insurance charge if you bring proof that you bought insurance the next day. It’s worth a try.
