Do I have to pay SR-22 Insurance in Forida?

I was told by the Dept. of Motor vehicles in Colorado that I have to carry SR-22 insurance for 3 years, or they would suspend my drivers license. I have been paying it for 16mos. I plan on relocating to Florida and transferring my license there. Will I still have to pay SR-22 insurance there?
Thanks

If Colorado suspends your license you will not be able to get a license in Florida, There will be a block on getting your license. What you need to do is call an insurance company that will insure you in Florida and file the sr22 in Colorado, I know it sound funky, but this is what you need to do. You can call Progressive Insurance ( I know that they will take care of this for you) Good Luck on the move
