I got a driving without headlights ticket in Florida, will this affect my insurance?
I was driving my friend’s car since I was the designated driver for tonight and I got pulled over because I didn’t realize the headlights :/ I have already taken traffic school semi-recently and I don’t think I can take it again so soon. So will this 1 point infraction affect my insurance since I can handle the fine but not the insurance hike…

Probably. Give them a reason to raise your premium and they will do it.
In the state of Florida, if you opted to take the class and not fight the ticket, then they should have not given you a point against your driving record.
If you do not take the class, then the point is added to your driving recorded and the insurance company will be notified.
So my friend, if you successfully passed the class and got your certificate and it was submitted to Tallahassee, Florida into your driving record, then you will not acquire any points.
Drive carefully, and good luck.
it depends on ur car insurer
All insurance companies do not raise rates so easily. I doubt that 1 point would cause an increase unless you have other incidents on your record
