Will a fixed penalty for NO INSURANCE affect my NATIONALITY application ?
Have been issued a fixed penalty for driving without insurance(unintentionally) by a PC and given 6 points and £200 fine. Was wondering if this is going to affect my British Nationality Application which I am about to submit ???? Anyone with same experience ???

why dont u have insurance
I hope so.
The last thing we need,is to allow law breakers into the country,we have enough trouble with the ones born here.
Yes it will. Any punishment that attracts a fine is spent after five years according to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. So if you were convicted within the last five years, your record is not clean and you are unlikely to be granted citizenship.
UK BA does advise that you do not apply while you have any unspent convictions on your record.
